My new t4210 has been working perfectly until today. The fingerprint sensor when swiped using the omnipass software shows my fingerprint like normal except for about 10 horizontal evenly spaced apart. Fortunately, my fingerprint is still recognized.

Is this a hardware issue or software? I'm worried that the sensor has gone bad. I'm guessing the sensor is composed of a capacitive array and one line went out causing the solid horizontal lines to show up on the screen. Any ideas?

I used omnipass software before, it sucks!!! this as far as I know happen to other sensor as well. I have an external USB one and it has the same problem, it will clear up after a while.

Yeah, that's normal - that's what I've seen from day one with the 4210. If it's not normal, then I guess I have a problem too!
