Anyone feel that the wireless signal on the T2010 is weak? It has the Intel 4965agn wireless. In tablet mode, the signal degrades even more. I have used other notebooks with Intel 3945abg and the signal is stronger. I have the wireless transmission set to maximum in the wireless settings. Anything else I can try to boost the signal?

Also, is it possible to replace the Intel 4965agn wireless card with an updated model?

I don't think that the wireless signal is worse than on other notebooks.
But you are right that in tablet mode the signal strength degrades, but it's because the antennas are in the display.

It should be possible to replace the wireless card with a newer card.
But note that the T2010 uses a normal sized PCI-Express card and some newer WLAN cards are shorter, so you can't screw them that easy.

My wireless seems to work everywhere on campus. In fact I get a better signal than most people in some of my classes.
