Its 1.8Ghz. but its the "slowest" Santa Rosa chip.

Initially, when I spec'd it out, i had the 2GB module, normal 80GB HD, which really if fine for most. I'd rather get an external 320GB later for under $100. BT module, Vista Premium and a 3Yr warranty and after discounts shipped was $1400 and change.

nikecar: makes sense to have the external, although I use up a hefty amount of space just for multimedia. Out of the 160GB hdd I have (aside from the bs recovery partition hp puts on, which destroys 10gb) I have just over 80gb left. Initially it started out with about 100. I used to have an 80gb hdd on my old zv65xx but I found it wasn't enough.
How does Vista run with the 1.8 and the 1gb ram?

i've just bought a TX1221AU, hate it as with an Athlon instead of Turion like the later-upgraded-same-package-TX1222 for students in S'pore.
was having the same issue on the handwriting recognition but the issue miracly disappeared after i put on the screen protector & as it's the matt type, it took care of the reflective glare too.

What screen protector are you using? What brand?
