I don't know if you guys heard but on indiegogo.com is a new fundraiser for a very "Surface Phone" kind of device. The only difference is, that this phone has the full Windows 10 installed, not just the Mobile version. And whats more it got a Wacom AES Stylus. So it could also run OneNote Desktop :D

    I think it's a quite interesting device. :)

It didn't say anything about battery. My Asus has the same CPU and I get about 6 hours, the SyncPhone's battery is perhaps half the size. I do like the concept but before they can present more thorough information (it read like something written by a 15 year old overly excited girl) I'll remain on the sideline.

Lol, go look at one of the successful crowd funding phone campaigns, the credentials of the engineers are substantial.

The CEO of this thing built a computer at 9 years old and did a lot of stuff with deviantART. Wow!!1!

Does desktop W10 even allow you to work with a cellular connection? Calls, texts?

    I'm calling vaporware.

Yeah... I want to like this too but - very few specs, 3 different models, no details... And I read a timeframe of 3 months? Surely this vaporware or outright scam right? Their campaign has almost no information. Call me a jaded coward, but I'm going to wait and see if its real.

The one and only phone with desktop Windows I am aware of was Fujitsu F-07C. Others were announced, yet never released. It seems there is some kind of Microsoft conspiracy ^^ regarding desktop OS on mobile phones - they simply do not make it to the market. Those guys also promise detachable qwerty keyboard... that's extremely cool, but no photos yet. Bottom line, looks fantastic on paper but also kinda fishy.

Smells like a scam, looks like a scam, and sounds like a scam.

I would hold off for a bit. If not even Chinese whacko prototype phones haven't reached those specs yet, then I doubt some sketchy people would have the means to even attempt it.
