I installed Swype on my Slate 500 and after a short learning curve I have really grown to like it a lot.

However I have noticed a minor annoying bug. When I preform the following steps the inking TIP settings go a bit wonky...

    1) Launch the inking TIP via the "pencil" button on the Swype keybord.
    2) Close the TIP
    3) Launch the inking TIP again

After doing this proceedure on my Slate the TIP setting "Write freehand style" gets set to "Write character by character".

If I never launch the TIP via Swype the setting stays on "freehand".

The work around was to add the TIP button to the task bar and when I want to ink I never launch the TIP from Swype.

    Anyone else experiancing this?

Another annoying bug with Swype (which I use religiously on my Smartphone) is that on Google Chrome clicking text fields will not automatically launch swype. I have to keep swype locked on and then go fill in the text field...anyone else having this issue on other browsers or anywhere else?

Fixed this by reinstalling Swype and disabling the touch input panel.

Thanks a million. Too bad it's 32bit only. I was going to use it on my AsusEP121 slate but it's 64bit.:(
    Thanks again .

I would still give it a shot. It should still run on a 64 bit machine.
