<<...I had a chance to play with one for 15 minutes this morning...>>

...I just read surfaceproartist's blog posting about trying the Studio at the Miami Microsoft store. For what it's worth (I'm definitely not an artist!) his impressions exactly mirror my own. I couldn't get the dial to work, exactly, but that was probably more about me than about the Dial.

Now I wish I were an artist, and a successful one at that . Oh well, maybe in my next life

Y'know, there's still time. It's not like being an olympic gymnast. You can start any time, and you can be doing your very best work the day you die.

    I hate you!

No seriously, only a tiny bit. :p

So, from what I read on your site I suppose the jitter with slow strokes and the apparent lag on strokes is still completely there?
I'm not bothered in the least about IAF but the jitter could be something unbearable by some friends of mine used to cintiq devices.
Me I don't care much, I had a surface pro 3 and I already decided this will be my next computer. :D

Speaking of the surface dial, I wonder what else it can be used for on the SB. Would like to get it for the cool factor, but I wish it could be a mouse replacement to some extent. There's not much info yet.

Just left MS store. Surface Studio's digitizer grid must be much finer than Surface Book. The slow diaginal line jitter is much less on it than Surface Book!

Will post pics and video when I get home.
