    What are your ideas for increasing structural stability?

    I've looked at the easel attachment design:

    I think we would need I think a much more secure grip to hold the base portion of the SS, considering the additional weight:

    Just have the largest credit limit, I guess. But the SurfaceProArtist.com surplus hardware fire sale will begin as soon as I get back home.

    @steven Ergotron stands work great with a Cintiq, here is another video showing such a setup in more detail:

    As for Dual-Protocol pens, I guess the folks at Wacom might now think "to hell with dual protocol, we are going to kick MS' ass" ;)

    I have that exact setup with a 22HD...just trying to figure out how to incorporate the SS into it now.

    (Assuming a Surface Studio somehow appears in my room ;))

    Honestly, MS should really be sending review units out to you by now...

    But I guess there's nothing actually quite like having the feel of that brushed aluminum truly "be yours", eh? ;)

    not going into a lot of detail but this is the very basic design i usually start with (or have started with for the companion, ipad, R1E etc. )
    Chunk of wood glued to a sheet of plywood with dowels, build a simple & cheap pipe clamp based vise on the backside and then shifting around bits & pieces, cutting holes for heat circulation into the plywood and so on until i have a weight distribution that's ok.
    Doesn't even have to be pipe clamps, i just have them anyways so i use them.

    @kvoram:
    been using the ergotron LX dual stack for the 21ux, 22, 24 and 27 as well as for cintiq companion, ipad, r1e and for books. I love that arm-setup!

    That looks really cool!

    If you have a recommendation for a good set of clamps, please post as might pickup a set if I want to embark on a little DIY myself! :)
