Microsoft should of had a semi-custom AMD chip and us consumers would of won. The new 7nm can clock down to 10W. A custom chip with the new 5nm coming out I would venture to guess would be a killer chip with under 8W's. Instead MS blows how much money on Nokia and then folds the Windows Phone.

Do you mean, "Intel should supply a semi-custom AMD chip' so that MS can use it?

I held a Surface Pro X and thought it was very nice but not for the price. My luck would be like with the Windows Phone. If I brought the Pro X I would guarantee the Pro X would be discontinued!

You're lucky - if I buy 'em they are guaranteed to slow to a crawl, overheat, crap out, break, then get returned...:(

I seem to have gotten a System Hardware Update dated 7/24. GPU driver is dated 7/1. Maybe this will be the one that fixes my constant greenscreens. Doubt it though. Also, I know this whole Eye Contact thing is being promoed heavily, but I honestly can't tell the difference whether it's on or off.

I don't want to jinx myself, but right now I'm a little tiny bit optimistic about these drivers. I'll have to give it a couple days, maybe even a week, before I know for sure, but I haven't been able to force any GPU crashes in this first day since I updated.
