So I've locked my Surface Pro X by turning off Secure Boot... and no bitlocker encryption is at hand.. Can I use the USB-C port to boot up the Surface image from a USB key with ann adapter (USB-C to USB)? Stressing... apologies if the wrong area. Without a bitlocker key I appear to be in trouble unless that will work. I assume I can't boot from a regular USB port on the dock..

Here is where you can find your Bitlocker Key - Finding your BitLocker recovery key in Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

Use an 16GB USB C Thumb drive to put the Pro X Recovery Image on and you should be able to get your device back up and running. Also, I don't recommend turning off secure boot :)

Thanks for the advice. Never screwing with Secure boot again! All good now.. I found the key in Azure. :)
