Ding ding ding - @Bronsky got it

The Sam Cooke version is a remake of the Louis Armstrong classic - different song I believe...but probably same message - either way, Microsoft ain't listening...

Nope The Sam Cooke version is not a remake of the of the Louis Armstrong song, but the Herman's Hermits version is a cover of the Sam Cooke song.

    Sam Cooke
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderful_World_(Sam_Cooke_song)

The Louis Armstrong song is very different though also a great tune.

And the Herman's Hermits version/cover of the Sam Cook Song is a pretty good cover for a a bunch of brits.

The mistake that people make is that Sam Cooke's song is just titled Wonderful World and the song that Louis Armstrong made famous was written by Bob Theile and was titled What a Wonderful World

And on that note, I'm headed home for the day :)

Right? And the X keyboard with pen slot. I’d be frickin’ ON BOARD, despite my largely functional X1 Yoga 3. So in a way I’m thankful they messed up again.

But I do know, that I love tech. And if Microsoft would love me back, what a wonderful world this would be!

Wow, what from some have written here, it looks like SP7 offers indeed numerous nice improvements over the SP6. There are still 2 questions I'm asking myself:
    1. Does the microSD-Card-Slot support UHS-II finally?
    2. Does the Surface Dock DisplayPorts support the new resolutions for external monitors like 4K@120Hz, 5K@60Hz ? That would be a huge plus for me...
If someone in the US could find out that for me, I would be very thankful. Have the chance to get a heavily discounted SP6 in Germany currently, need to decide soon... ;)

    <<...Does the microSD-Card-Slot support UHS-II finally?..>>

...My guess would be probably not; UHS-II is still a pretty obscure protocol and I haven't seen many cards that support it. I agree that it would be nice, though...

    Why is it "obscure"?

Btw: Does anyone know if this slim pen type cover works on the SP7 as well?

Not superior intellect, just the son of a mother who was a HUGE Sam Cooke fan :)

    <<...Why is it "obscure"?..>>

...Ever tried to find a UHS-II microSD card?

<<...Does anyone know if this slim pen type cover works on the SP7 as well?..>>

...Probably not. IIRC, I read a "hands-on" account that said that the interface pin pattern was different than the Surface Pro...
