No TB3. No external graphics for me :/

Would have been an instant buy but now...I'll wait for the reviews and buy from eBay next year. Shame :(

USB 4 would have sealed the deal for me. USB-C w/o TB3 is absurd.

Any mention of whether the surface pen tech has been improved? (you know, wobble wobble wobble, jitter jitter jitter, and all that jazz)

I find it really pathetic how the Flagship device got the most boring update.....like it was clearly the black sheep of everything announced today.

So literally the only differences between the Pro 6 and Pro 7

Is 10th gen Intel, a single boring USB-C port, and “Less Battery Life”

Talk about snooze fest. I was really hoping the pen would have at least gotten an update.

I think I’ll be sticking with my Pro 5 for a little longer....it’s almost as if Microsoft doesn’t want us Pro 3-6ers to upgrade.

And they didn't even clarify whether it's Ice Lake or Comet Lake, which probably means it's the latter. Remember people, Ice is cool, and a Comet is a flaming pile of rubble. :)

Edit: I stand by that last statement, but thankfully the Pro 7 has Ice Lake processors.

also given the use of the Slim Pen for the,....still a year off,,,, Duo/Neo....I’m going to assume the rumored clip pen with touch functionality will probably never come out. Given how many upcoming products are supporting the slim pen.....if the Pro 8 does get a redesign....,it will be for the slim pen almost certainly. That is basically the future of the Surface Pen.

    Information from the Microsoft store:

    Pro 7
    • Differences between the Pro 6 and the Pro 7
      • 2x faster
      • USB-C (Whopee??)
      • Fast Charging
      • Dual Studio Mics
      • ...And that's all!
    • Max - min configurations:
      • i3-1005G1 (UHD graphics) / 4GB / 128GB, $750 (US price)
      • i5-1035G4 (Iris + graphics) / 8 & 16GB / 128 & 256GB, $900 - $1400
      • i7-1065G7 (Iris + graphics, more EUs) / 16GB / 256 & 512GB & 1TB / $1500 -$2300
    • Case colors in black and silver, but not for all models
    • Hardware available 22 October
Unfortunately, the Surface Team pretty much left the Pro out to dry. Ice Lake processors, not Comet Lake, so at least there's that...

2x faster would be huge! Which makes me think I'm misunderstanding something.
