If you've experienced symptoms of persistent screen flickering/shaking/Jumping with your Surface Pro 4. Please contribute to this thread on the Microsoft Support forums.

Also consider filling out this Google Form.

In my personal experience, the device started having the screen shaking/jumping.Text becoming blurry. I also experienced persistent graphics (graphics remaining on the screen after closing/minimizing windows) I had both darkening of edges of the screen inside Windows and the reverse on the Surface Splash Screen.

This occurs after the device has been on & in use for some time, though not under particularly heavy load. Several Google Chrome tabs open. The back of the device would be quite warm to the touch.

The jumping of the screen and blurring of the text renders the device unusable, and so far no fix has been able to permanently resolve this or prevent it from re-occurring.

The earliest posts on the issue seem to be from as far back as December 2015 and Computer World even did an article on the fact in April 2017 that users have been reporting the problem with ZERO resolution from Microsoft (even though they imply the issues started in April 2016) aside from offering refurbished replacement and pushing people to out of warranty status and then charging for a replacement.

I have been trying to liaise with Microsoft escalating the issue, but at current nothing is truer than this post.
(With 1053 owners reporting the issue in this thread) and a myriad of posts with the same symptoms.

Have been waiting to hear from Tier 3 support for a week now, when I contacted support to follow up was told that they called and email. Both untrue. I have no missed calls or voicemail (Google Voice #) nor do I have anything in my junk mail, deleted mail or inbox. After I created a BBB claim, I got an email from the "Case Manager Re-Escalations" and then got another email from a Customer Relations Manager...off course though I again have to wait till next week to continue corresponding with them. Apparently they don't work weekends.

Lovely to know how much of a priority Microsoft's customers are upload_2017-10-20_17-37-17.png

Users affected by the screen flickering issue have created a website www.flickergate.com in an effort to bring attention to the issue and force some kind of resolution from Microsoft.

Looks pretty professional! Not sure about the grammar though.. :) Also at this point I think it's OK to say you guys lost $2,000,000. Close enough!

I have been trying to get them to pay attention for weeks, nobody has bitten.
Seeing reports of nSP's experiencing it as well. Will need visual confirmation as there is another bug that occurs at low brightness levels in relation to adaptive brightness.

@JoeS The Verge, Gizmodo, Engadget, Linus Tech Tips, ZDNet have been contacted.

FYI the warranty contract prevents us from making a class action lawsuit, we can only do individual arbitration.
