Have you had a chance to test out a non Microsoft branded Ntrig pen with your current i5 unit? And inversely, have you has a chance to use your MS pens with a non SP3 Ntrig enabled tablet? Just curious to know if this still happens with any Ntrig pen or just the MS ones. Sounds like you're just having a streak of bad luck with your replacements, but it's also possible that you have 2 bad pens!

<<...It is like you lived between a nuclear plant and a big ass transformer...>>

    Hilarious!

However, I once had a girlfriend in college who claimed that she couldn't wear wristwatches because they would always stop. I was skeptical, but long story short, she actually proved it to me! To this day, I can't explain it...!!!

OK so which one is it - the shape of my transformer or my magnetic personality...

This thread has taken a decidedly interesting turn. I should stop by more often.

Ya' know, if you turn the power down on that Nuclear Reactor
you have in your basement, maybe it would not affect your
    electronics so much....
    :)

Speaking of basements, did we ever find out what
that funny smell that was in "Normans" basement....

I have a Surface Pro 3, just updated firmware and ~30 updates. Now the thing won't charge. I have two chargers that both worked fine, so its not the charger. I have uninstalled the battery in device manager, I booted with the volume up then exited, I triple checked that all updates are now current. I removed the adapter, unplugged it, plugged it back in, plugged the cord both ways on the SP3...nothing. Anyone have ideas??

Perhaps try a rollback? A worst case scenario is a factory reset, I had to do that when I lost one of my monitors after the Nov 19 update.

A user here has just dropped off a Pro 3 that refuses to see ANY wireless access points. Nothing. Nadda. Zero. Rolled back driver, updated driver, disabled, removed, soft reset, clean reset with only a complete re-install to go. :/

    Guys,

If I buy mini display to hdmi port, can I use my surface pro 3 as extended display ? I want to use my laptop (hdmi) as a main pc and surface's monitor as an extended display.
