Any chance we can get a million people or so to tweet @Microsoft "Fix it completely, announce it, check again that it is completely fixed, THEN ship it!"?

yea lets be honest here, I kind of expect glitches on every damn new product when it comes out lately. (its sad but companies keep doing it all the time, video games are the same way they can push out crap and get software to fix it later on.)

    <<...I received a Firmware Update...>>

...I also received a firmware update last night (production Win10, not an Insider version). It took a curiously long time to install, but did so without incident. I haven't encountered the "spontaneous hibernation" behavior, so I probably won't have any insights into whether this cures it or not...

I received an email from Microsoft on Friday that says in part "Bring in your current Surface to your local Microsoft Store and receive up to $550 toward a new Surface Pro device, plus free device‑to‑device data transfer ($49 value)" and also "Offer valid from June 15, 2017 to July 31, 2017" which is a weird date range in relation to the email.

I haven't been able to find any kind of schedule on how much you get for various models of older Surface Pros.
