My online order was finally canceled, after I escalated it to management. I got the new type cover for free because for some reason they had already refunded me for it before I talked to them. So between my SP4 buy/return, the botched online order, and finally getting the nSP at the Microsoft Store... I got the new type cover, the dock, and a $50 sleeve for free; and the student price for the nSP, new pen, and Microsoft Complete. A lot of frustration but a pretty good deal!

What's the fastest microSD card people have found for working directly in the SP slot? I have found a few Lexar and Samsung cards on Amazon that say they are really fast in the included adapter, but not that fast in their SP. I'd like to get a 128GB card to use for working storage on photos... so want something pretty fast for moving lots of files around.

That's discouraging but typical Microsoft miscommunication at work.

Those other devices are already compatible with the pen (except for tilt) so why do they say eventually?

I think there is something broken in the nSP Windows Hello. I have retrained it about 5 times and it will work great for a few minutes. Then after a while it won't work anymore, even in the same location and lighting. I never had this problem during my short time with the SP4. Anyone else having this?

Yea windows hello has a lot of issues in the nSP. Even Lisa from mobile tech review mentions it on her review. It will probably get fixed with drivers in the future.

I just got a replacement unit, the one on the left: the overall luminosity throughout the display is more uniform but that light bleeding on the longer edge...
Lot number is 1719 for both.
I won't ask Amazon another replacement, I think I will keep one for now and contact directly Microsoft in a few months for another replacement under warranty.
    Embarassing
