    So the pen is now sold separately and costs an extra $100 ....SERIOUSLY??

    Also don't understand the decision to remove the clip on the pen...

    ...Because the pens are now colored. But I agree with you about the price...!

    YAY - I can join the world again :) I'm actually pretty excited about the updates - I'll admit I'm torn between the i5/8/256 and i7/16/512....

    it starts @ $799 i'd assume the m3 version, but then costs an extra $100 for the pen..

    Sure my SP3 is a little long in the tooth, but it does what I want (yeah, yeah, minus 3 4k monitors) and more importantly what I need. Unless subjected to some accident I'll think I'll stay with it a while longer.

    curious to know if there will be backwards compatibility with the pen for the SP4, Book & Studio...it's unlikely...but users on reddit are speculating since it ws demoed with the Studio, that should signal backward compatibility with the SP4 & Book...

    The page for the pen lists compatibility from the SP3 to the Laptop and indicates tilt will be added via window update.

    Still waiting for actual confirmation (video evidence?) that all of the new pen features will work across N-trig models.
