    Short observations:

+49 Whr rated battery capacity! (Ignore the rated capacity in my screencap. It is erroneous since it is a preproduction model. The actual charged capacity shown reflects the correct rating. Lisa Gade, in her first look video below, confirmed this 49 Whr rated capacity.)
+The i5 model is 5 percent faster than the i7 model Surface Pro 4 and 20 percent faster than the i5 model Surface Pro 4!
+Even though the i5 model is completely fanless, I experience no throttling even after dozens of consecutive benchmark runs!
+Subjectively, it feels much more solid in build and evenly distributed in weight than the Surface Pro 4!

Any word on LTE options / specs? The cutaway reveal video makes it look like the LTE modem fits in the spot where the fan fits.

If so, then this means LTE only for non-i7 models.

4hrs of intense video gaming is still decent.

Could you clarify one thing....regarding the newer Pen and that firmware update for older systems. Is the eventual firmware update only going to enable tilt on old systems or will it enable more?

Like if I use the new Pen on the New Pro....It has Tilt, 4096 Pressure Levels, Faster response time, etc.......but if I use the New Pen on an old Pro 4 or Pro 3....will that Firmware update only grant Tilt on the Pro 3/4 or will it grant the higher pressure levels and all the other bells and whistles added?

That was what I was hoping he would clarify earlier :p

I guess we're just going to have to wait until the pens & updates are available.

I do find it interesting that the SP4 also has a chip a la the nSP that enables the digitizer to utilize the GPU for improvements with the pen, so maybe the tech is already there, just needs the firmware. Only time will tell at this point.
