    Hi,
My SP is showing the full charge capacity of 34,720 mWh which is 77% of the designed 45,000 mWh. It is still under warranty for about another month. Any idea what MS considers if/when a battery replacement is covered under warranty? Can they replace the battery and not change the entire SP for a refirb or new PC? Thanks.

no the battery cannot be easily changed, if they decided to offer you warranty service you're getting a new to you Refurb.

Also bear in mind that there is a firmware/software bug affecting Surface batteries right now.

But definitely try and get it dealt with before your warranty is up.
