I am on the verge of pulling the trigger on a nSP system. I am upgrading from an SP2. My SP2 has an Incipio Screen protector. As a OneNote note taker, I don't have serious demands on the pen. But I do want to make sure I don't lose any pen "ergonomics" from my SP2.

    So here are my questions...

How important is the Surface Pen Tip Kit to adjust pen feel? Since the new Surface pens don't support the Pen Tip Kit and there doesn't seem to be a new Pen Tip Kit coming out, it would appear it isn't that necessary. Or maybe it isn't technically possible to support with the new pen?

So for those who had the SPTK, did you miss it when you upgraded to the new Surface Pen?

    Thanks!

I used those nibs from the kit in the small window of time I had the new surface with new pen.
Why shouldn't you use the old kit?

And the new surface pen is a surface pen with single side button.
Besides, as I said I used the pen with its original nib, B, HB and 2H: it works the same with all four.
    Which means awfully.
