    Wow. that was unexpected,,,,,

It almost feels like a misdirect though....

In other words they go quiet for a period of time (possibly because they are delayed yet again) and then in 2022 they just announce "Windows" and oh by the way it will come in home, home tablet, pro , pro tablet. mobile, dual screen. mobile dual screen, student. professor, enterprise..........

No feint, no postponement, look to Azure and Windows as a service. I think they truly believe that high speed broadband will be ubiquitous, and they can then run anything, anywhere, on any platform CONNECTED to Azure. Just a week or so ago they announced five more big data centers - all your data is ours - I think this is just a consolidation and not a delay to spring a dozen SKU's on users. The real Windows OS will only be for heavy iron - the trucks as Jobs called them. If you want Windows on iPad, you got it. If you want Windows on Galaxy Tab, you got it.

I wonder why hackers haven't accomplished this already with WOA.

No market for WOA even in those circumstances?

PS - wrong thread, but really liking your SG2 Bronsky!

So, what's the consensus on this Win 10x news, good or bad? Can't seem to process the info overload; first Gates gets divorced, then 10x is put on life support. Somehow, I expect to wake up tomorrow to the news of the Surface line demise .
