I wonder how Alcantara would react to Plasti-Dip and if it could still be peeled off easily?

The screen brightness has been measured, and it's apparently 360 nits. Not great, but still better than most recent Lenovo offerings.

Any real world impressions of battery life by now? I see 9 hours wifi browsing on 100 nits reported, so maybe 7h on medium brightness?

Another question; how is the sound quality? They mentioned the speakers are behind the fabric (yes?), meaning I guess that the fabric acts as the woofer and the tweeter? How well does that work? Side note: searching for tweeter on google produces hits on 'twitter'. I guess the number of twitter users is larger than the number of audiophiles. :)

GOOD LORD THOSE PRICES - the Surface Laptop is $2699. I've got a 15" 4k HP Spectre x360 sitting in the checkout cart right now with the new 8th gen Intel i7, NVIDIA MX150, 16gb ram, 1TB PCIe, Windows 10 Pro, flips 360 degrees and includes pen for $1799. I have to believe the Surface Laptop is still Gen 7, as it expressly uses Iris Graphics. Sorry folks, but this is getting to be absurd anymore.
