I looked at it with great longing but couldn't justify the price gap. The non-LTE models are routinely available for $200 below list either on sale or refurb, while no such deals are available for the LTE models.

Found this footnote on the Microsoft site - if you want LTE and 256gb you'll have to be a "commercial customer"

"5. LTE with 256GB storage configuration available soon for Commercial customers only."

Maybe that's just code for "we're REALLY gonna jack up the price for it and don't want the 'consumer' reviewers griping at us about it..."

    <<...LTE with 256GB storage configuration available soon...>>

...I think you're reading this wrong. I think they're saying this LTE / storage option will be available to commercial customers earlier than to consumers; it doesn't make marketing sense to cap storage for consumers in the younger demographics... They're the ones that are going to want all their music and videos on this thing...

Don't think so Steve - I quoted just as it appears on the footnotes to their site - looks to me like the 256gb SKU of the LTE model is reserved for commercial sales.

I've got that now in the nSP LTE model, plus fanless Core i5...I may be straying here awhile.

Such a child; dBase III was more or less a desperate attempt to stay relevant when Lotus Symphony was released with it's own database manager, and then the flood followed. Were you even born when Visicalc was *the* electronic spreadsheet?

Grandpa told me stories about it, I just thought it was legends. Like Star Fleets or Mohicans.
