    Thank you.

    Thanks for posting the photos of those computers. We have come a long way from those days.

    Growing up in the 80's, I used to drool over those (Atari PC being my fav) however, those machines are too expensive for a teenager trying to earn a university scholarship.

    Upon graduation & starting work, I started working on with top-of-the-line mainframes & desktops. Work supplied me with endless bulky laptops (oh how I loved my old IBM T63) for out of office usage. Then the TC1100 (the best TabletPC, imo) which I used for 11 years (omg) then Surface 3. At this point, you'd realise, as you climb the corporate ladder your tech specs gets "simpler" while your people skills gets "complex" lol.

    Along the way, I have still yet to buy myself a PC. Those pioneering machines fueled a teenager's dream for his future career, though.

    (Ramblings of someone just off a 12-hour night shift, on a weekend)

    @djas - you could lecture @Bronsky about patience - 11 YEARS with a TC1100...OMG:eek:

    I can't make 11 weeks, much less months, anymore...

    The best TabletPC, ever,Imo. I had the dock and everything. Only carried the tablet portion when off my desk. I was using it in tandem with various Palm and WM PDAs. Work let me keep it when I am forced to upgrade my "desktop". Still in good working condition but time has passed it by.

    Will be trialling the Go, GB and Envy X2 next month. I can happily live with the Surface 3 for couple more years if need be. So no hurry.

    So I took the Surface Go out of "S" mode, but in Edge it still won't let me change the search engine from Bing to Google. Does anybody else have this problem?
