Me too, and performance wise as well. It'd be hard to let go of my SP4 that I got on that crazy Best Buy deal a while back (SP4 m3, 128GB, Type Cover, pen for $680 total), but tbh that's more computer than I need for a second device. It's kind of tempting to have an even more portable Surface as my about-town device. Wait, did I just invent a new device class to rationalize a purchase? :)

What the deal on the M variant? I read this(SG) is estimated doing around 9 hours of battery, what is the current SP rated at?

Hmm maybe I'll tried to find a SP4, with the Core M. I have the pen all I would need is a keyboard. What was the battery life on that model again?

Same price $799.....but no keyboard cover and only 4GB ram. I think they had a deal on it last week, for $650, but currently it's the same price as the i5 bundle.

    Allow me to strongly disagree.
I still remember how poor the drawing experience was on the Sp3. ;)

I just came from the Pro3, had it for 3 years. The only improvement I can tell with the current nSP is faster hovering speed....but annoyingly only in the center of the screen....which I think is kind of worse. Like a week in with the nSP....and its still a crummy drawing experience as the SP3 was. Just switching back over to my Galaxy Book is giant breath of fresh air.
