Classic NTrig issue. My original S3 pen still does that. My SP4 pen, not so much.

I tried to resist, but my S3 said it's time to switch. I got a good deal on a SP 2017 and fairly happy(would have preferred it to be slightly smaller 12.1" with smaller bezel would work). My S3 pen stopped working, but SP4 pen works, but currently really liking the Wacom Bamboo ink.

I have the HP Envy 8 and the SP4. Both work with the Wacom which is Convenient. Hope that the SPgo will fit the gap with good pen experience. I sold the Surface 3 for $200

Went to Best Buy tonight to look at the SGo. Size was about what I thought but it was thicker than I expected. Played with the inking and didn’t notice any different performance between this and the 2017 SP next to it. They had the 4gb device on display. I tested opening programs side by side with the SPro and It was about a second slower to launch Onenote. All in all didn’t turn me off but didn’t get me super excited either. I guess it will come down to how well it operates

I replaced my S3 last November for GB 10.6 8/128 LTE

    love the inking experience
Hate te case specially in an airplane

I see note ng really enticing me to get the SG and instead I just ordered A one mix yoga... lets see how that works.

I do have to carry a SP4 that is company issued and I think the one mix would be a better companion than a 20 in tablet

Will report in s couple of weeks when i have it in my hands

Good to know the newer pen works better. Hopefully, the latest pen (2017) is even more reliable

Really needs to replace my omg-what-is-it Surface Pen with a the broken clicker and worn-down nib. This fella has gone through 3 years of solid inking duty.

Sharing some tips for getting one: Amex Offers has 30 off 300 Best Buy. You could buy one $300 BBY GC using Amex #1, and use Amex #2 and the $300 GC to buy the Surface Go. Then when you get the $50 GC from Best Buy, use that with Amex #2 to complete the purchase of Type cover. Together, you’ll be saving $110=$30+$30+$50 compared to Microsoft Store. (Assuming the 8/128 model)
