Is there an ETA on your replacement unit? Even though we've had plenty of first impressions, I'm still looking forward to yours. Curious if it feels more than a few percent faster!

My plan at the moment is to wait for the Delaware Microsoft Store to reopen and go down and get one of these myself. As far as I know, the online MS Store is still "investigating" my aborted delivery. American Express has already credited my account with the purchase price.

I actually had someone stop by from UPS today so I got to vent a bit. I'll have to see what the Microsoft store comes up with before I consider taking a replacement unit from them. Service has been horrific.

That is the blue keyboard (first gen) - actually a little more blue than the picture reflects. Works just fine with the SG2 but doesn't have the upper magnet to stay closed better.

BUT - it is vastly superior to it's Smart Keyboard cousin, and $30 CHEAPER at retail. I think if folks give them a fair trial, the SG2 will hold its own against the iPad Pro so long as you are not a big time gamer. I've had no problem with any of the streaming services, and the productivity capabilities are no contest unless you are a minimalist in the docs and spreadsheets you prepare or annotate.

Does that make me biased? Am I starting to sound like Rubino?

Definite bump on my battery life after the update . Consistently getting around 7hrs before end of day with 20% battery still remaining .

Switch on at 10am and stays on continuously until 5pm , at around 1pm shift to 50% brightness , battery to second saver lte on , edge , word and OneNote on with music playing in the background.

Battery life for sure is much better than the original Go .

The greatest thing about the tablet is you can use an external battery to charge the tablet via USB c or the Microsoft port

But this is also working with the Surface Go.

On a more serious note, the May 2020 update also has improved (better calibrated by default) display profiles for the Go 2 and Surface Book 3

The usual caveats apply about any update like this and I wouldn't update, solely to get those profiles
