For the $142 difference between the Pentium/4GB/64GB Go2 and the M3/8GB/128GB Go2, I would go with the M3 configuration all day long.

, thanks this will help a bit to compare value of both. Where I live the difference is currently bigger (all including taxes, in euro's); I can get the cheapest model for ~400, ~500 for the 8gb ram 128 gb ssd pentium model, ~550 for cheap model but with m3, and the top model seems to go for ~750.

The extra $55 (38% more?) might make me think for a minute, but I'd still go with the M3/8GB.

, forgot to mention it basically is in euro's (somewhat similar priced to US if incl taxes). So as you can see top model is quite expensive here and the others either lack the ram or m3. That does make the budget version (or perhaps the one with 8gb ram and pentium at 500) more appealing (unless the expensive models will decrease more in price over time).

If you have the money (and if you don't, frankly, just save up a bit more) then go for an M3 with 8GB. It's a bit of a price bump, but it's oh so better. Any 64GB device is just not worth it. Only the LTE version is grossly overpriced.

Or better yet, look on Swappa and get an used M3 version in mint condition. Got my M3, 8gb, 128gb mint condition with warranty until 2021/10 there for just $545 + $25 shipping (to my brother in the US). All I can say is that I'm a happy camper.

I just don't get this only 4GB on modern machines especially since they have Windows 10 64 installed on them.

I mean, if LTE is quite valuable to you, fair play.
But you surely can't argue the price jump purely for LTE is large. And it's quite common.
