    (Transplanted from the Duo thread)
I so very nearly got myself a SG2, especially when the ThinkPad X1 Tablet 2 from Ebay arrived DOA. I still might get one if other things don’t work out. But my old Fujitsu Stylistic Q584 got a new lease on life last night by upgrading it from Win10 to Windows 8.1:

    OMG, the bezels are dazzling!

So much more snappy and fast and pleasing! Plenty good enough for couch use, which is what I mostly want in a 10”.

And, since there aren’t any other good X1Tablet 2 offerings anywhere right now, I went for an i5 8/256 Surface Pro 4 w/type cover ($400) on Swappa. People have had good success putting Linux on it. A nice kick-around portable with only 19W power draw under max load. Something to use when I can’t afford the power draw of my ThinkPad X1 Extreme 2. (Being off-grid on solar power, ya know.) I remember my m3 SP4 fondly, always sorry it black-screened and had to be returned. Worth a second try at this low price.

But, anyway, I’m with all of you in admiring the Surface Go 2 m3 version. Microsoft does get it right from time to time. :newpalm:

Always heard it as "even a blind hog can find an acorn now and again" - says the country mouse to the city mouse...

Thanks. I must admit that I have never heard that saying. I was wondering what the image meant. :p
