Since I seem to be in "rumor week" we've heard that there are a couple of new skus coming including a 512GB storage option and a non LTE 256GB M3 option.

Not earth shattering by any means, but more of an indication that the go 2 as product is selling very well.

Nice. Let's hope the rumored 2021 "Go X" includes the little SSD trap door so we can upgrade drive space ourselves at a reasonable cost.

Finally had to do some significant document work, reviewing discovery from a major oil company, consisting of its franchise agreements, assignments, regulatory filings and the like. The entire production ran into the thousands of pages.

At one point, I had more than 40 PDF's open and in various stages of scrolling and printing. The little M3 handled it all in its stride. No delays in loading like the Pentium Gold from the Go 1 would have done. Printing spooled quickly and I could scroll/view the documents normaly without a hint of lag.

Dam this thing is mighty for its size.

When they finally put all Edge tabs separately in the ALT-TAB menu, yours is going to look frightening..

Looks impressive. Not to pour cold water, but a serious question: since these are static text files, is this in fact surprisingly good, or is it because even 1000 of pages of text pdf is only about 25mb, so not really challenging to 8GB ram, I-think-I-can cpu? How many browser tabs before it chugs or freezes, or approaches 80% ram usage, with other programs open?

Good question. I'll check next time. The most impressive thing here was 0 wait time to open and a number of these PDFs were spooling to the network printer at the same time.

Got it, thanks. So more of a cpu performance issue than "look what you can do with only 8GB ram."
