This is one of the most FRUSTRATING parts of being a Windows device junkie (and I'm including ARM and Duo/Android):
    • MS's own hardware runs no better, and sometimes WORSE than OEM - eg first few generations of Surface Pro and Surface Book "hot-bagging" to the point of battery destroying overheating in your briefcase
    • iOS versions of ANY MS software running better, with better UI, than Android or even the Windows mobile versions
    • MS multi-tasking and windows controls better on Samsung devices than their own Duo
    • Link to Windows (the Samsung side) better than Your Phone with any laptop/desktop; even Surface devices
    • Don't even get me started on WOA...
If you can't dog food your software with your own hardware, what does that say about your company?

    <<... https://www.windowscentral.com/surface-duo-2-elusive-pen-cover-price-availability ...>>

    Uh-oh...

"...However, we have heard Surface Duo 2 may get an update to enable the haptics, although Microsoft has not publicly confirmed that information..."

Yet another opportunity for Microsoft to slow roll its customers. I wonder what year we're talking about, here...???

And, PS: Why not sell a dielectric pocket clip for the slim pen for those of us who suspect that only a superconducting super magnet will be strong enough to ensure that the pen stays put...?

Daniel Rubino confirmed it, and said that it is plenty strong to keep the pen on there.

Believe me that's the main appeal of the Duo for me. I hate narrow display with a passion.

That said, I won't be in a hurry to get the Duo 2, having just bought the OG Duo. With my GTab 8 with Spen now almost unusable due to lag, I think the GZF3 would make a good replacement for it.
Come on Japanese carrier, drop the insane price!

@negative1 : No offense, but I'll trust my own judgement on this one. I can think of several scenarios where the pen would likely get peeled off (and we're talking here about a $130 accessory)...

Oh dear, Daniel Rubino didn't come across great with that article.

But go to the comments. They're a hoot.

I may or may not have been a snarky bastard down there too.

I was - even dared to question hîs comment about the Note S Pen - he is so smug and arrogant - me I'm just flippant and an a$$ at times!
