<<...PPS: I wish I could get the finger print reader to work as well for me. It's still less than 50% on the first try...>>

Seriously , it works for me first time almost every time. Truly amazing!

I like “posture”. I understand the reflexive rejection of anything that has a whiff of marketing mumbo-jumbo, but you’re literally arranging the Duo into different postures (i.e. arrangements or dispositions of the parts of the device).

This has probably already shared earlier in this thread, but Unbox Therapy interviewed Panos Panay about the Surface Duo:

Out of curiosity, I wonder if you're seeing the 'crooked fingerprint sensor' issue that Android Police details under build quality, and if that could be tied to the lack of success?

How does the fingerprint sensor work?

I remember on my old HP TM2T, you would swipe your finger across the reader. Does the Dou sensor require a swipe, or just a press?

<<...Does the Dou sensor require a swipe, or just a press?..>>

@b52hbuff : Just a press. During set-up you map the surface of your fingerprint(s) but in operation you only need a single press anywhere on that map...

I found Erica Griffon's video to be particularly instructive on multitasking differences between the Duo vs Fold:

She goes over the the required UI manipulations for split-screen, experiential differences in aspect ratio, and the superior ergonomic benefits of the Duo's 'postures'.

All of this really goes to show how the advantages of dual screens, really cannot be replicated by a single folding screen, in the current Android environment. If anything, MS' greatest contribution to the mobile space will be the massive impetus in multitasking APIs and standardization that all Android users will benefit from in years to come.

Hats off again to Microsoft.
