A-HA! But that's exactly my point. I still suspect thickness dominated the camera quality, not their decision to "not concentrate on getting the best camera". Wait, we were going to let this go.

Yes but we were talking about raw sensor quality and thickness and image stabilization is a secondary function and outboard (sort of) to the actual module... Ok enough of the tennis match, back to regular scheduled programming :D:p

(plunk) Well, you were, the whole time I was talking about complete modules with lens assembly (the ball lands in, it's a clean winner, audience applause) Wait, @desertlap challenges the line call, hawkeye says the ball isss...... (suspense)

Now, if an enterprising developer were to design a keyboard to scan across both screens, with a touchpad area below the screen...hmmmmm

Should have known you were a semantics geek...:p:D and the engineer in me sees these as separate components which technically they are

BTW: The mechanics in OIS are usually connected to the optics not the sensor (with software assist) and they are often physically separate, however Sony made a camera a couple of years ago that had stabilization for both...and now I must STOP!!!!:p

Are they perhaps going for a file/document-centric view, whereby you open "Office" and then navigate to the file of interest, rather than an app-centric view? Having been a Windows Phone user, which relied on Hubs, that was my first thought when I read your comment.
