Apparently they wasted all those new Surface Earbuds on the pre review folks....

Yeah, you don't strike a posture, you strike a pose! (there's nothing to it - name that song)

Unfortunately for you, despite (or because of?) its pretentiousness it seems to be catching on with the reviewing crowd.

Oh, I don't know - it is sooooo zen-like - standing, laying on your back, sitting on your keister (aka buttocks for you Gump fans), cross-legged...

NO, you are right, it is SO ANNOYING...

Will be testing for drawing in artflow, maybe sketchbook and if it works with cintiq. Any thing I should be testing for in particular?

I personally would love to see how Medibang Paint and Clip Studio Paint would run on the duo. Screen caps of their interfaces on both single screen mode and that span mode where it extends to both screens.

Medibang should be easy since its on the play store. Clip Studio you can only get on the Galaxy Store which only Samsung products have access to, however it should be possible from a Samsung device to export the app to an APK file and manually install it on the Duo. The Clip Studio APK should be 318MB.

How DARE you schedule family stuff on release day - tech violation 101...

On a more serious note. a must read - this may have already been shared, but Sam Rutherford at Gizmodo really "GETS" the Duo:

"Between its price, specs, and most notably its design, Microsoft’s Surface Duo is one of the most divisive phones in recent memory. But after getting the chance to use one, I can’t help but find the amount of vitriol, incredulity, and straight-up hate that gets lobbed the Surface Duo’s way incredibly perplexing. I mean, just think about it for a minute. While they’re not for everyone, when it comes to having two displays connected to a laptop, the advantages are obvious. You get more real estate for various apps, the ability to quickly drag files from one place to another, and powerful multitasking. But for some reason, as soon as you mention the idea of a dual-screen phone, that device becomes a demon, something to be shunned or mocked. This kind of sentiment feels wildly at odds during a time when people’s primary computer is a phone, not a laptop."
