As a side note: LTE has some infamous man in the middle incidents and in fact both the US government and a couple of large municipalities as well used them with for instance "cell tower spoofing" where they put a fake cell tower up to catch traffic.

5G architecture makes this at least 100 times harder (though not impossible)

When I started out in my own practice, Verizon Wireless was a client. I would review the radio engineer's selection of tower locations in conjunction with the Phase I Environmental Reports for each location. It was a great client to have at the time and really helped establish my practice during the development of the 4G/LTE system. As the LTE system matured, however, the work fell off a cliff and then Verizon moved this work to a New York firm after the Ninex take over. What I would not give to have that concession today with the number of locations that will be required under the 5G regimen.

By "one area" I assume you meant "...among hundreds of other areas!" :D

@steves, in fairness, you ask (in great fairness ;)) very little for the devices (in your primo SteveS condition!) you have had for sale on this site. You would do better on eBay or even Swappa - but we would do worse!

Are you trying to start something that would be more suited to "off-topic?" :D

Beginning to wonder if this isn't the cornerstone of MS' strategic plan for the Duo, with "consumer" sales just being a halo thing. This baby will likely work far better, far sooner, with true Azure class applications, as opposed to MS' consumer level cloud based apps for some time to come. Also with far greater level of customer support and, perhaps, verticals. Think?

Pretty nice, but he keeps saying "this is quick to load", where the apps were clearly still in memory. Aside from that it did all look pretty snappy.

Funny usability problem, the news app uses 'span' quite well, with topics and article titles on the left, and the full article on the right. But: there was a popup on the right, so the left side didn't respond even though there was nothing there to indicate what was amiss. Some UX work needed. :)

Looks like the SDuo won't be available outside the US until 2021.
I'm thinking, does MS actually want the dang thing to succeed at all?
