    No the Surface Studio never complained. The lag problem was somewhere between the software update, the 2017 Pen, the 1060 and its driver.

    With 1.7.2 installed on the SB2, I still see very slight (barely perceptible) edged strokes with the new Surface Pen that aren’t there when I switch to the SP4 pen.

    Terrific! Looks like it takes some time to kick in. I recently exchanged my SB2 and had to reinstall the updated Onenote uwp but tilt would not work for a couple of hours. Had to keep playing around opening and closing the app ... opening from the app store etc. I also noticed this strange behavior when trying pen remoting (using remote desktop on my SB2 to connect to my desktop). Pressure worked fine when pen remoting but there was no tilt. This was yesterday. Today I fired it up and now tilt works great in remote desktop. Go figure.

    Looks like they're comparing to the first gen Surface Book, instead of the Book 2.

    Does anyone make a folio for the Surface Book (2) clipboard with a stand mode - would be perfect for those quick meeting jaunts?

    The correct comparison between ZBook X2 and Surface Book 2.
    http://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/workstations/zbook-x2/index.html

    GPU performance, SB2 still wins.
    Maintenance / serviceability / upgradeability, ZBook X2 wins (I assume ZBook X2 use the same "easy to open" design like HP Elite X2).

    The dual core 15 watt Intel 7th gen CPU on the HP really hurts at those prices. In the fine print it says 8th gen CPUs (that will match Surface Book 2) are coming in 2018.

    They price it a way that people think, HP place Zbook X2 in the MSP shelf. But the chart targets casual users?

    I thought Surface Book 2 was outrageous - the "Customizable" version of the ZBook BEGINS at $4335 for 8gb/256gb/4k, with a fully dressed 16gb/1TB tipping the scales at

    $4883

    :eek::eek::eek::confused:o_O:(:eek::eek::eek:

    Uhhh - you could knock off $479 by dropping the included Adobe CCS...:):rolleyes:
