<<...Who amongst Surface 3 users going for it?..>>

...As (I think) you observe, this is being discussed elsewhere; let's not repeat that discussion here...

Anybody else have their touchbar go dead to touch after yesterday's update? Both the tabbar and the URL bar are dead to touch. They work fine with the pen. Has to be a software or firmware screw up. Thank you Microsoft! Can't use the x to close with touch and can't use the home button. Both now pen only. Any suggestions? Touch works fine everywhere else.

Can you revert back to a previous firmware version?

Uninstalled all three 8/14 updates and tab bar touch function has not been restored. Still think it has to be a software/firmware issue. I don't think that N-Trig has separate controllers for pen and touch like our old Note 8 tablets. I can't imagine how a hardware failure would not result in total loss of pen and touch in that area of the display.

Anyway, the tablet is serviceable for now but I tend not to use the pen to navigate so loosing touch is really PITA.

Doesn't MS know you are a committed Surface Go purchaser without having to drive you to it?

Had the same thought. Jesus … just let it work until LTE is released. Do they have to make me buy one now and upgrade when LTE is out?

The one thing I have been doing is keeping an eye out on eBay for GB10s. I would probably try a GB10 rather than buying a Go at this point. Or, at least I think I would. I could always switch back once LTE is released.

Thanks. I guess it is possible that it is a hardware issue. I'll look closer..

Are you certain you haven't driven over it with your car lately?
