As much as I like the Cube, the 16:9 aspect ratio and the lack of support make it a "no go" for me. For now, it looks like the SGB10 if I am sufficiently tempted when it is released or waiting until the end of the year for W10/ARM. I am sorely tempted by the Samsung's specifications and am not completely turned-off by the eMMC. I am also not a fan of the Cube's keyboard base.

That is why I haven't been able to convince myself to get it. I am also dissuaded by the customer support or lack thereof. Paying overseas shipping for warranty work and potentially waiting for a month or more just isn't appealing. That, in addition, doesn't even convince me to get it as a tinker toy.

See my post above. eMMC 5.0 has much better random write performance and, to my knowledge, only eMMC 5.0 and above has been used in the Intel Core M reference designs.

Windows 10. I have no complaints with the pen...I actually traded the surface 3 pen for my partner's surface pro 4 pen because she hardly uses it. Both pens are super smooth in onenote except when I'm doing too many things in the background.

Hey, I'm putting on a lot of self-restraint lately.

You're right. I wonder, when a company like Samsung shows off a new product at an event or trade show does anyone from the tech press call B.S. on stuff like this?

I came up with five responses instantly, but I'm keeping them to myself. But there are limits to my ability to hold back. Tempt me again and all promises are void.

Not everything can be magic cargo pants, or me after 3 bottles of wine.

As I understand it, this is a "fanless" model.
Have you any problems with it getting hot or too hot?

Does it seem smaller or more handy to carry than the Surface PRo 3 or 4?
    (if you own one)

    Thanks
