    Not in Match,in April actually.
MS never announced Surface either MWC or IFA or CES.

Try reinstalling the sound drivers via device manager.
Simple uninstall it then restart the surface and let by itself to be installed
    I don't see earlier than April(optimistic scenario)

I thought reinstalling windows from scratch would fix the other issue I was having; which is bsod due to some intel hd related .sys file(did a google search), but no dice. Could my igp have gone faulty, which is why it's causing my computer to bsod at least twice a day now? Is there a way to check?

Have you tried different drivers? Maybe the one from Intel site?

I did. Before having issues and reinstalling windows, I tried the drivers off the intel site. I thought that caused the problem so I unistalled it, and thought maybe I didn't uninstall it properly. Did the clean install and here I am now with the same driver/igp issue.

I get the bsod at least once a day and not sure what to do. Cause I'm still getting this even after a clean install of WIndows 10 and of the Intel drivers from MS.

I know this is a clean install but you didn't tweak any settings did you? Specifically, adding a registry key to allow the screen to be turned off without putting the surface to sleep? Only reason I ask is because I found a forum thread where someone was having a similar issue with the Surface 3 and that seemed to be the cause.

No, I have not. Haven't edited/adjusted registry on a computer since my Windows 7/Vaio TT days.
