    <<... Anybody encounter this?..>>

...I have not, but upon reflection, I'm also not surprised. Remember that "thinner, lighter" also means lower thermal mass; that is, less physical mass to absorb heat, which implies faster temperature response (all other things being equal) to heating from whatever the source. Given the closed case with no vents, is it possible that Microsoft has adjusted their thermal parameters on the sensitive side to better avoid potential damage to the processor?

    Did someone say; "Fan please"?

Twitter is to communications as haiku is to literature.

Imagine how much faster it would absorb heat if it were still black Mg Alloy casing!

The Drawboard PDF app that we have pre install out of the box is the full version of the app or beta or with same limitation

Can we use it with SP3 or you have to purchase it via store again?

    Thanks.

Well seems that there is and third configuration 4/64 with Pro version of Windows and without Office 365
    Has anyone bought this one?

It seems to be the full version, but it's not linked to the one in the App Store, so it cannot be used on the SP3.

I thought about the 64/4GB unit, since it also comes with W8.1 Pro. I went with the 128GB.

Cherry Trail is not compatible with SSD only eMMC flash.
But my question is why can not find this version via on line ms store?

On the day that I got my unit, the 64/4GB was available through the business sales agent at my local MS Store. It was priced at $549 and came with Pro. Not sure if the same unit is being sold in the EU, but here the 64/4 is a business model that ships with Pro. What I like about that is that you can use bitlocker to encrypt your SD card as well as your eMMC.

Actually the 4/64 with Pro version of Windows I wanted most off all.
Since I have the i5/4/128 SP3 I don't need the 128gb version of S3 but it's not available via EU ms on line store(de,fr,it,Ireland) and didn't wanted the 2gb ram version.
