    Same here. Started with the Tuesday update which also killed my sound.

    Sounds pretty similar, so far it happened once. I kind of want to take it back into MS to exchange it, but then I remember I have the extended warranty and I am going to wait until Window 10 is out and see if the problems persist. Sound is working fine for me.

    I guess I just assume that new devices will gave growing pains. Same with W10. That's actually a plus for owning a Microsoft device. At least they try to fix the problems.

    The Touch Screen Driver sounds like it crashed, restarting the Touch Service or reboot should fix it....

    If it happens again for me is DOA.
    Not even once 9 months with my SP3 had touch issue not responding.
    My only common issue(because that happens too with other windows tablet that I had Lenovo-Asus) is that a couple of time, when I press the power button to boot on windows(not from sleep but from shutdown) refuses to boot so I had to press it 2-3 times again or for couple of second until turn on the tablet.
