Glad to help. I've benefited from other peoples efforts in the past and figured it was my time to give back.

Great work! By the way there seems to be a misplaced linefeed/carriage return in your signature.

How did you pry the case up? I got the 4 screws out okay but don't see an easy way to remove the cover.

Option GTM671WFS and Option GTM679WFS (with CDMA option) provide integrated Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. So, the existing Wi-Fi card can be removed and either of the above cards can be inserted. These cards have integrated SIM card slot therefore no need for one in tablet. GTM671WFS is available for USD 115 from: Option GTM671WFS - 3G/WiFi mPCIe Module - SIM Card Slot. GTM679WFS did not show any online price but the retailers are present in US. Windows 7 Drivers are available for download from: GTM671WFS/GTM679WFS | Option. I have not tested it but it should work

I never did figure out how to get it open. I have a 256gb drive to go in when I figure it out.

I recently opened up one of the Q702 to try to deal with the fan noise. The most tricky par is to separate the silver/gray back cover from the black body. Both are made of plastic and are snapped together by plastic hooks. I found it best done with a proper tool, such as the one shown on the right hand side in the picture below, which I bought from Amazon as part of a tool set (Amazon.com: InterfuseTM 10pc Pry Bar Repair Tool Set - Metal Nylon Spudger Tweezer T4 T5 Screwdriver: Cell Phones & Accessories).

    How to open case.jpg

The rest of the picture shows two examples of the plastic hooks on the back cover and the main body. The trick is to use the plastic tool to push into the black body to release the hooks; i.e. in the same direction as the red arrows. It shouldn't take much force if you do it right. And with the plastic tool you won't damage the plastic parts. Good luck!
