Finally found secure, stable stand for ModBook:

The two clips hold it well: Simply slide ModBook firmly into place; very secure even in portrait position. Need to remove ModBook and re-insert to change from horizontal to portrait or vice versa.

Rubbery pad on VESA mount plus stiff rubbery pads lining clips hold it tightly.

(Cables can be hidden inside arm.)
