SSD installation problem on Fujitsu T734

    luck of the draw unfortunately. I have been using the same 500 GB crucial M4 in my T902 and have nothing but a good experience... There was a site that posted fail rates of every specific SSD, which was really handy. Even Samsung and Intel have dud SSD's.

    Yea, I'm aware of failure rates but the fact that it happened twice in a row was not acceptable for me.

    Yeah, that's understandable.
    It does seem Intel is still the safest bet for SSD reliabilty: http://www.extremetech.com/computin...might-be-the-only-reliable-drive-manufacturer

    Pretty limited test scenario in some ways, but still telling. I think if this drive ever fails I'll probably pick up Intel too, to be safe. Losing work could be more costly than the minor cash saved going with a cheaper brand.
