If they use the Snapdragon 835, will the device be capable of running W10/ARM when it is released in the fall?

I would speculate that Windows Cloud and W10/ARM might not be completely different things. Windows Cloud could be W10/ARM version "light", with a "full" W10/ARM version coming later.

Great - maybe we should just go buy a GS8Plus, DeX, and call it a day...

Am I the only one who gets tired of these companies talking about education? I have been a grad student for coming up on 4 years and what has Microsoft done to tangibly help education? They make devices cheap and rugged and then call it education focused. And then they turn around and put things in their OS like 3d paint and call it creators update. If they want to really help students, how about they bake in some features into the OS that is actually useful for education? You know, like an e-textbook store and reader app that lets you buy or rent textbooks in epub and PDF format, that you can highlight and annotate on, and when you copy text from it takes bibliographical info with you and inserts it as a footnote in word. They want to talk about education and the best they can come up with for a reading experience is epubs in a browser. Who wants to read in a browser? Especially one that doesn't go full screen.
    Sorry. Rant off.

The one thing that I do like is Microsoft Office University. It's a decent deal for students.
