Sony sells its VAIO PC business, makes TV arm its own subsidiary
So what are they going to be doing now? Making android smartphones that are even less profitable?

Surprising News... They had said they would refresh/update their Flip line for the end of this month and I had planned to buy one Flip 15...
Humm time to be cautious ...
Or stick with PCs that have a limited future. Really there's no win here. It looks like Lenovo is fast becoming the Samsung of Windows PCs.

I think their other electronics lineup (Bravia TVs, cameras, Playstation, etc) has always been more profitable than their vaio line.

Refresh the Flip line how? Planning to get a Flip 14 or 15 in the next few months so don't want to end up with a model that's about to be upgraded, especially when the price will probably stay the same...
