I have primarily been using the little pen that comes with the Note9 took out the staedtler to write with it in a meeting and nothing.... Thought it was the screen, restarted... No dice.. Doesn't work on the Note9 either Sooo... She's gone folks Sent from my SM-N9600 using Tapatalk
I've burned through a few modern styluses. Two of the Samsung Galaxy 'full sized' pens just stopped working after a few months of daily use: https://www.amazon.ca/FORERUNER-Samsung-SM-T820-Replacement-Warranty/dp/B07SJ92HRS And two of the Dell Canvas super-nice pens flaked out and started dropping strokes after only a couple days of use. I think this latest crop of Wacom pens might be a little more fragile than we've taken for granted based on past experience. -The old Penabled styluses from the days of yore are still going strong for me. They don't make 'em like they used to. The little Samsung toothpick pens, however, seem to be nearly indestructible.
This the older ones still work fine apart from the alignment and the types of tips etc... Sent from my SM-N9600 using Tapatalk
Yeah. Penabled won't save those of us spinning in the Samsung Galaxy. Though after burning through two crap pens for my N9P, I'm currently benefiting from the high quality control on the ubiquitous Samsung Toothpick pen with one of those holders. "Smardi S Pen Plus". -It has a button, which I don't think I could do without. They have a silver one, too apparently. I have two of them, just in case. It looks like the kind of product which might vanish one day before I'm ready.
I'm sure you you already checked this, but just in case.... you made sure a recent update didn't mess with your battery saving settings? If the s pen is still in the silo and you try to use another pen on the screen with the setting "allow multiple s pens" off (which is off by default for power saving reasons) the pen wouldn't work. Just thought I'd check, I assume you already know this but figured there may be a slim chance that a recent update reset that feature to off or something.
