Sizing up 3d apps on the Surface Pro

    Interesting article, but by the way, have you every thought about using ArtDock on the Surface Pro together wit Art or 3D Software?
    Would be awesome to see a review how well that would work and whether that changes anything on the "recommended/un-recommended"-list!

    I've installed ArtDock and used it briefly. Seems especially helpful for Photoshop. I don't have the time/scripting ability to customize it myself.

    Reality is all of these apps will work fine if you connect your Surface Pro to a larger monitor and a mouse. But the real holy grail would be to be able to do small modeling or texturing tasks while on the run without unnecessary eyestrain.

    Art dock with zbrush is an amazing experience. I can get by without keyboard and work in a way I vastly prefer over a wacom on a pc

    @sweeptheleg, are you using Art Dock with the Surface Pro? The version that's available here doesn't seem as art friendly as the original by Konartist3D. Have you created your own ZBrush version that you wouldn't mind sharing?
