Man! There are some huge screen set-ups popping up today. I remember back when I splurged for a 17" monitor, and felt like I was rocking the scene! It was huge, bigger than our microwave, and it weighed a ton. And because it was a CRT, it had amazing colour. These days, I like small; I have a little 10" USB monitor on a swinging arm which I can bring up close so it seems huge, but doesn't make my studio feel like my life is dominated by too much technology bearing down on me. I only really want big when it comes to drawing surfaces. But if I worked with lots of documents, I can definitely see the advantage of the Star Trek approach!
