hi according to "local experts" i will only be able to insert a 64gb SD card, is that correct?

if so i may be better looking to upgrade my note8 to the 64gb model note 8 ?

A 128 GB card will likely work but Asus doesn't guarantee it, but they do promise that a 64 GB card will work. 128 cards are not generally available yet so few have tried them.

    a 64gb card works without problems. I use a Sandisk Extreme 64gb.
though I can't say how fast it works in this device since I seldom use it.

    i can confirm 128gbSD works fine !

has somewhat beefed up my note 8/32 !

although i am wondering whether i should have held out for the 64gb SSD model

well, its a sandisk ultra, there is even an ad for it on the for sale / wanted part of the forum ... when i say cheap i mean compared to the 64gb, its only a few pence more, and for me to carry literally all my client data with me, thats a massive convenience factor ... i would have paid twice that ...

This actually just raises even more red flags.
