I see, I don't use the One UI, I use the MS Launcher.

The 205 also has really slow flash storage of the EMMC variety, about 1/10th the speed of what they are using in the new Note 10 (UFS 3.0)

Weirdly the new Tab S6 has faster storage but still not top end.

PS: It's too bad they didn't incorporate the 855 plus in the new S6. A tablet would be much better with the thermal demands of the new 855 plus

PPS: A slight defense of the storage in the 205, they may have done it for power consumption reasons given they are positioning this as midrange device. It is the most frugal solid state storage option.

Fully understood that the GTA8SP is a mid-ranger. I have no issue with the performance given that expectation. For the price I paid (SGD$300), for an AIO, it is more than capable. No gripe on that front.

PS: I learnt long ago that specs in not an end all. The value is how one use a particular device for is always my go-to reply.

We have a couple of them here in the office and you are expressing what I always preach, I.E what's the best fit for the job at hand. The 205 is a very good value all things considered.

And I still wonder why they wont officially bring it to the US

No wonder it takes time to load. Even rebooting the device takes forever.
Yeah, for that price, can't complain too much.
Any idea if it'll get the Android 10 treat?

@Giowi beat me to it. It will for sure get 10 but we haven't heard on 11 though I think it's likely.

I never care about Android OS versions update tbh. Call me a Samsung fanboy (hehe, but I am) their customisations esp. on SPen features-set is way ahead of any current mainline Android updates.

That's all I care about, really. No SPen, no talk.... lol
